Mark Applegarth (born 10 December 1984 (1984-12-10) (age 27) in Newton Hill, Wakefield) is a professional rugby league footballer who at club level has played for Stanley Rangers ARLFC, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, York City Knights and Central Queensland Comets, playing at Prop, or Second-row, Loose forward, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11,12,13. He also represented the Great Britain Schoolboys in 2002 against the Australian School Boys. He was released from his contract with York in June 2010 to pursue a career in Australia. He currently plays for the Central Queensland Comets in the QLD cup competition.
